theschoolofintegrated circuitsatnanjinguniversity, established as part of the first group on the suzhou campus, leverages the newly approved interdisciplinary field of "integrated circuit science and engineering". this discipline draws on nanjing university's strengths in physics, chemistry, materials science, electronics, and information science, supported initially by the school of electronic science and engineering. the school focuses on addressing fundamental scientific and engineering challenges in integrated circuit devices design and manufacturing. it aims to cultivate talents in basic integrated circuit skills, engineering, innovation, and leadership, thereby supporting the sustainable growth of integrated circuit science, technology, and industry.

the integrated circuit science and engineering discipline atnanjinguniversityhosts one of the first government-approved, first-level doctoral programs in this field. the faculty includes over 80 full-time teachers, 2 academicians of thechineseacademyof sciences, 13 recipients of the national high-level talents special support program, and 22 young top-notch talents national support program selectees. we established the “national integrated circuit industry-education integration innovation platform.” and was recognized as a keyjiangsuprovincediscipline during the “14th five-year plan”. we were approved to build the jiangsu provincial integrated circuit advanced process engineering technology joint laboratory, among the first injiangsuprovince. we also established the state key laboratory of spintronic devices and technology andengineeringresearchcenterfor optoelectronic materials and microchip technologies of ministry of education.

ii. the positions

the school of integrated circuitsis seeking to recruit young scholars eager to pursue a career inengineering. the application process is open to scholars worldwide. our current vacancies primarily include tenure-track assistant professor and tenure-track associate professor positions. additionally, higher positions are available for exceptionally outstanding scholars, and these applications will be considered on an individual basis. specific fields of research open for recruitment include:

the applicant should
