Job Description:
As a lab management Engineer, you will be partnering with Drivetrain friction component team, CRDC facility and EHS teams to manage the labs following CAT lab requirement. This position is responsible for the labs running, material purchasing and quality certification per company requirement.

61 Collaborating with cross functional teams to define lab safety, environment, quality and test requirements
61 Preparing test units for lab testing
61 Supporting testing engineers Performing lab tests to validate components from a performance and product quality perspective
61 Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues
61 Managing testing programs and communicating arrangements.

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.

61 Explains where to locate basic help facilities and troubleshooting guides.
61 Discusses basic concepts behind a systematic approach to solving technical problems.
61 Identifies available resources and support systems for troubleshooting.
61 Describes problem identification, reporting and escalation procedures.
Engineering - MFG: Knowledge of processes, techniques and methods of engineering in a manufacturing environment; ability to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems and processes that safely realize a desired objective or invention.
Level Working Knowledge:
61 Assists in problem resolution, drafting and writing specifications for engineering practices.
61 Works with basic, routine components of the engineering discipline in manufacturing.
61 Performs basic installation, maintenance and repairs for a specific engineering function.
61 Follows relevant standards, policies and practices in engineering operations.
61 Reports unusual engineering issues and considerations regarding manufacturing operations to senior staff.
